In Maine CD2 it is Matt Dunlap or Jordan Wood

Maine State Auditor, Matt Dunlap is a CIA (Certified Internal Auditor).  Congress really needs an auditor as a member of Congress. While there are plenty of lawyers in Congress. Congress is anemic in the amount of Accountants and especially Certified Internal Auditors.

At the same time, Jordan Wood is a gay man in a gay family. I coordinated Fitchburg, Leominster, and Gardner for Massachusetts Congressman Barney Frank’s first congressional campaign in 1980.While we thought that gay issues were mostly behind us, MAGA has brought all those crazy bigoted issues back. I share a little bit of my experiences with that horrible campaign. And Jordan Wood and his family will be an important role model in Congress to help bring us back to the pre-MAGA sanity that allowed gay marriage.

These two are great progressive candidates. And it’s really hard to choose between the two. On one hand, I am an accountant and would love to say Dunlap. But I share the struggle I feel between these two candidates.

And they do it at the last minute to make it difficult to respond. It didn't work in Maine. Maine...

Congressional Term Limits? We Should Let Them Self Deport!

Mitt Romney in 2012 suggested a policy where the US would let unauthorized immigrants to self deport. While Romney's position would have been much cheaper than Trump's very expensive ICE solution that seems to have failed, letting members of Congress "self-deport" from their Senate and Congressional seat may be a better solution than asking voters to surrender their right for whomever they...
