Christian Urrutia (NH CD1) is NO PROGRESSIVE!

Christian Urrutia has been trying to sell his progressive credentials, and has even been battling it out with Rep. Heath Howard claiming he is in the same progressive league as Heath Howard.  He is NOT!

Christian Urrutia is an opportunist who is pretending to be a progressive. He has sent MA Congressman Seth Moulton a $2000 dollar check.

Astute people in the Trans community rightfully tried to point out to Urrutia was supporting Moulton who is very anti-trans and had advocated for Democrats to walk about from the Trans community. Moulton thinks throwing our Trans community to the MAGA wolves for political expediency.  But when they tried to point this out to Urrutia, he was a smart ass, and even made them feel he was blocking them, and hiding their comments like Trans people don’t exist.

Trans people exist. And they vote. And they inspire others to speak out. And one of the Trans women that Urrutia has singled out for ostracization is someone who inspires me very much.

But it’s also bigger than just Trans issues. Seth Moulton wants to defeat Ed Markey, a stalwart in progressive MA politics.  Moulton will not appoint judges that care about Trans and many other progressive issues as well.

It’s time to call Seth Moulton and Christian Urrutia exactly what they are. They are political opportunists who think progressives have an advantage in 2026 and 2028.

And neither one can be trusted.

Graham Platner’s Maine Primary Blowout

Graham Platner won the Democrat Senate primary in Maine. It was a blowout. I offer my thoughts on this crazy two weeks in Maine. Maine voters didn't buy it. And we have learned in Maine just how hard it is to stand up to big money, and to stand up to AIPAC.  They throw everything they can at you. And they do it at the last minute to make it difficult to respond. It didn't work in Maine. Maine...

Congressional Term Limits? We Should Let Them Self Deport!

Congressional Term Limits? We Should Let Them Self Deport!

Mitt Romney in 2012 suggested a policy where the US would let unauthorized immigrants to self deport. While Romney's position would have been much cheaper than Trump's very expensive ICE solution that seems to have failed, letting members of Congress "self-deport" from their Senate and Congressional seat may be a better solution than asking voters to surrender their right for whomever they...
